Very nice new bungalows with rooms. A little pricey at 40 euros on booking.com (50 euros on site). Upside is the comfort cleanliness and the excellent breakfast. Which is included in rate. So definitely worth it. No kitchenware at the room. But I asked for a kettle and received one. The lady at the reception is very generous and nice. Albeit limited English

Only riding lesson reservation was little bit of tricky. We visited the farm and from the info point we got phone number for riding reservation. Nobody answered when we tried to call to that number. Then we called to the info number from their home page. From there we got another phone number. That worked. Riding instructor spoke some english and was very professional and nice.

We stayed for one night. The room was clean and warm but very basic and not cosy at all. There's a "kitchenette" but no utensils, pots, pans, nothing. Breakfast was included and the food was very simple and there wasn't much of a choice but the few slices of cheese and ham were tasty. We had dinner there as well which was €10 pp and consisted of some meat, potatoes, and sauce with cake for dessert. We had previously booked horse riding in the forest for 2h but very little information was given. When we arrived we were given horses to clean etc but another guest arrived and it turned out that there had been a double booking so the trainer left with the other guest, first commenting that she's "too tired and lazy to do anything" in a loud voice in front of everybody. We were left with a small year old child about 10-11 years old who, as I understood, rides there sometimes, and took us to a manège where we rode for about an hour. She was friendly though and did what she could. All in all extremely rude and unprofessional staff. Double check and confirm everything to avoid misunderstandings.

We went there with a big group for just one evening and it was great. We had some nice but simple food, enjoyed traditional Estonian dancing and got to take part in some traditional "games", that were quite funny. Some of us took the opportunity and spend time in the sauna, others took a ride on the horse carriage. It was quite a drive from Pärnu City, where we stayed, but totally worth it. The hosts were very welcoming and did their best to comply with every wish we had. I can only recommend going there!

Not that best experience, but possibly a nice place. Staff spoke no English and we figured out where to "check in" after wandering into the kitchen Rooms are clean and basic No common area and only internet access in the dining room Accommodation for food allergies a plus Decent dinner of typical Estonia fare. Nothing to write home about With the large company event.... So no place to hang out, dinner was rushed since the large group took over the big dining room. They also booked the sauna all night so we couldn't enjoy it Wouldn't go out of my way to stay here but decent overall

My husband and I stayed one night in May. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly horses. The host lady was very nice, spoke little English. We enjoyed the quiet environment on a farm, an encounter with excited sheep and goats (they thought we would feed them), Finnish sauna and breakfast - oats porridge, bread, boiled eggs, tomato, cucumber, ham and cheese. We did not book well in advance, we made a phone call a day before. Probably because of that and also because we were the only guests that day, dinner was not available, which was understandable. We didn't find anywhere to eat nearby, but a small grocery store. We bought fruits, bread and cheese and ate in the room. Our room seemed to be a self-catering unit, with a kitchen sink and fridge. However there weren't any kitchen tools: no cutlery, plates, mugs, kettle, nor pots/pans. We wondered if the host lady forgot to offer these utensils, or we should have brought our stuff. The room reminded us of school or hospital accommodation: it was very clean and practical. It seems in summer time there may be many guests and lots of fun activities. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

This was quite a drive from Parnu, we didn't stay in the hotel, we just paid a visit having a traditional Estonian meal followed by a smoke sauna. The food was well presented and more than enough for our group of seven, lots of choices of traditional foods which were all homemade and sourced locally. We were then given a tour by the host (luckily we had some native Estonian's in our group to translate. The smoke sauna was small but enough room for the seven of us. Was a night we will never forget

A conference I attended earlier visited the site which prompted me to bring my wife, children and parents from the US for a stay. Maria Farm is a historic over 100 year old family owned farm which offers accommodation in separate cabins. The grounds are very well kept and the nature is all around you. Horses which are available to ride graze leisurely in the pastures just outside the cabins, breakfast and dinner is served inside the 100 year old main building by staff who have been the personal caretakers of the family for almost just as long and often the owner and his family come to the Farm dressed in traditional Estonian attire, not for tourist reasons, but because it's simply what they wear! It's back to basics at the Farm which in my opinion is refreshing. The restaurant does not have a menu, you just eat whatever is being prepared for the evening, which is never a disappointment. We had traditional meets and fresh fish for three nights. The breakfast is also done in the same manner with farm fresh duck eggss served with farm raised bacon and other vegetable and chesses. Basically this place is like farm to kitchen without the hype, it's simply how things are done here. The Farm takes a little effort to get to but a newly installed bus stop makes it easy to get from Parnu to Maria Farm in 30 minutes by bus. Just tell the bus driver "Maria Farm" Also as mentioned below take the time to go to Kihnu island and discover a UNESCO world heritages site (one of three in Estonia) which is a trip back in time. Don't miss the museum in the island center and if possible rent a bike and explore it on your own, it's the best way. Overall if you are on the way to Parnu or just passing through to Tallinn, spend one or two nights the Maria Farm. The nature and genuine character of the people is refreshing.
