My boyfriend and I went to Auberge for one night and ended up staying for two. We opted for the more expensive room so we could have a view of the valley. The room was splendid and met all our expectations. The bar area with the food and drinks in the room never went empty. There was always a new... more

This is probably the loveliest hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are so comfortable and equipped with everything you could ever think of and also beautiful. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Loved the spa pools. Loved the food. Only complaint, but quite serious - the music by the pool. We came there to enjoy... more

The Auberge is lovely, the food is great, but you can't help but feel that you are getting taken advantage of. Management behaves with an insincere earnestness and concern for guests' well-being is related to the size of the bill being generated. Go and enjoy and try to ignore that instead of your face, the Auberge sees $$$. more

I was extremely hesistant about booking this hotel because of the price, however, all hesitations and insecurities dissipated after we arrived. We were greeted with a welcome glass of wine, and check in went very smoothly. We stayed at one of the Main House rooms, since we wanted a room with a view. At $800/ night, the room (esp the... more

We stayed in an upper valley room and the view was breathtaking. I cannot think of a single thing that we needed that was not in the room. A fridge stocked with drinks and snacks (all included in the price). The bed was amazingly comfortable. The gym was great, the pool was beautiful and the service was excellent overall. BUT... more

Similar to what everyone has already said, this is a very expensive hotel that has done an excellent job anticipating your every need and desire. I went out and purchased a Nespresso machine after we returned home. The attention to detail is felt in the service throughout the property. I found little touches everywhere: some of which I will use... more

We stayed at Auberge du Soleil with friends for two nights and had the most amazing time. The food and service in the restaurant was superb, the room and attention to detail was among the best in the world. We particularly appreciated the expresso machine and the complimenatry amenities in the pantry area. The rooms were exquisite and the throughtful... more

We were only staying one night on our way back to Tahoe. This was a great place to relax and enjoy a really great dinner with a good selection of wines available. Don't be put off by the dress code they mention in their restaurant notes - there were several people in jeans and casual tops. The room was comfortable... more

Auberge du Soleil is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed, and we've been fortunate enough to stay at some top-notch resorts. The rooms and surrounding area are magnificent. The service is awesome, every staff person we encountered were gracious and professional. You will spend alot to stay at Auberge, but it's worth it. As silly as it is,... more
