The Sutter House is one of the noisiest motels or hotels I have ever stayed in and I have traveled extensively around the world. The room was on 12th street opposite the light rail which runs all night. Stayed here for 1 night in March 2005. No complaints. The hotel is as described on its website and in other Tripadvisor reviews. It's a good value for the downtown neighborhood (near the Capitol), where most hotels cost at least twice as much. We stayed here for 2 days in September. The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable, it's quiet, and we realised the vase on the table contained our very own fish!
