The is one of the worse La Quinta Inn I stayed booking through Hotwire ($58; rated 2.5 stars). Stayed one night before heading to our Tahoe ski trip. Checked in was so easy : Just my last name and I got the room key in 20 seconds. That's it! No ID, no credit card, no nothing. The original room was... more

We had to stay overnight in the Sacramento airport area since our flight was scheduled to arrive well after midnight. The desk clerk was very friendly, and even offered to upgrade us to a quieter room in the back with a king size bed since the hotel wasn't full. The room was comfortable, warm and impeccably clean. The continental breakfast... more

Nice but smallish rooms. Good shower. Overall very clean. The pool is never really in good shape (we've stayed here several times over a few years); the jacuzzi was out of service. Nice stopover point from Southern California going north to Oregon. Breakfast is adequate with some warm foods such as waffles and hard boiled eggs. more

We chose this hotel due to it's proximity to the convention center and price. The price was definitely the best feature. The shuttle service was also adequate, somewhat prompt, and the driver friendly. (We love you, Vicki!) Breakfast was adequate according to La Quinta standards, though not outstanding. Some problems include the numerous cats roaming freely around the property. Most... more

This hotel has super easy I-5 access. It had super service when we arrive and where ever we asked for anything from the front desk. The breakfast bar was well stocked and attended promptly by the worker. I had a lot to offer from hot waffles to individual oatmeal servings. It was clean and reasonably priced. On the down side... more

we stayed here because we were travelling up to seattle and it was decent. the rooms are a little outdated but the staff was nice. we did see someone get arrested at the shell across the street but other than that i'd say since the place was full of guests, it was a good value. more

I was in Sacramento for a conference and the conference hotel had filled up, so I needed a convenient, but rather inexpensive place to stay...I found this place through one of the online travel sites. The hotel and the room itself were decent, everything seemed to be in good condition and clean (no mildew, bugs, etc). Also, they offer free... more

We booked a room at LaQuinta downtown and confirmed with a credit card. A couple of hours before we arrived I called to ask them to deodorize our room because I was told we couldn't have a non-smoking room, only to be told that that room was no longer available and they put us in a smaller room. Since we... more

This is a great place to stay with your pets. You are treated like regular guests, and the rooms are clean, spacious and airy. A clean bathroom is important to me, and La Quinta's was spotless. The grounds are well-maintained, with clean sandy areas for pets to use. The only downside to this hotel is its location. The area looks... more

Based on reading the positive reviews, we booked a night at the La Quinta. We asked for a quiet room and our room was away from the freeway. We were very pleased - room very clean and fresh. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Close to restuarants. We travel frequently with a small, very well behaved dog and we would like to... more
