Great clean place and u cant beat the bed. BUT there train tracks close by that let u know it at least one time a night. When the bar lets out, and its a big one, people come walking by ur room at 2am and the rest is history. more

This place is dated, filthy and smelly. The entire grounds smell as if there is a rotting dead animal somewhere. The trash cans are overflowing with flies buzzing around. There is goose poop everywhere on every walkway. There are cobwebs everywhere around the grounds and lake railings. The lake and koi pond are so polluted, you can not even see... more
The Radisson website made this look much better than it really was. Although it was conveniently located about 10 minutes from downtown, the neighborhood was a bit odd. I would not really recommend this hotel if you are traveling with kids. The room doors open to the outside, not a hallway. more
Hotel was priced very cheaply but was still a Radisson which was why I chose it. I was not planning on staying in Sacramento, but it snowed in the pass to Tahoe and I opted not to risk the drive over at night in the snow. Most other choices I considered first (e.g., Embassy Suites) were booked. We showed up... more
This hotel is near the Sacramento fair grounds and is located in a quiet area. I would recommend that you stay at the nearby Double Tree or Hilton instead. The hotel is very spread out with a confusing layout so that persons with limited mobility (or lots to carry) may find it difficult. The rooms are old and not well... more
Radisson Hotel Sacramento So, as my Husband (robins_sweetie) stated It was very nice. The 1st night was a Friday, Holiday Weekend, So I guess the Trains figured it a good time to move freight around in the freight yard all night. So not much sleep to be had there. After that night however, I will say that I really didn't... more
Found a great rate directly with Radisson website ($55 a night) Its a bit off the beaten path for Sacramento, but for me i think thats a good thing. I know Sacramento sufficently well to get around so it was fine for me. Its just off a minor freeway, no traffic noise to speak of, also very close to Cal... more
I recently stayed at the Radisson for a conference. Reading the reviews on this website, I was concerned and wasn't sure what to expect, but found many of them to be on the nose, both good and bad. Yes, you can hear the trains, yes, the second floor rooms would be better - I did request one, but got put... more
My husband and I went to visit family, and I selected this location because it sounded relaxing. Thought after hanging with the family all day it would be a great place to unwind. It was. The grounds are large and contain a small lake where you can rent paddle boats. The restaurant where we ate breakfast overlooks the water and... more
We were very satisfied with our stay here. It's a large sprawling property and we were in the one story section where you park in front of your room door. The lobby was nice and check in was quick and easy. The grounds are very nice and the pool area is large and spacious (with lots of clean towels). From... more
