We had an unpleasant surprise, though. We had rented a 2-bedroom suite for Christmas Eve so we could house extended family in the same spot for that family-oriented night. I knew the hotel had no elevators, but it turned out that all of the 2-bedroom suites were upstairs. That would not work for my disabled mother. I think this information... More

1We have stayed at this Marriott three times a year for the last 3 years. it is clean, the staff is very pleasant especially the staff that takes care of the breakfasts and snack-type dinners mon-thursday. They are friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast has enough choices so you can eat oatmeal, fresh fruit and yoghurt, or pig-out on the more... More

I stayed here while running CIM 2011 and it was a good choice. It's an older property but still well maintained. Very affordable room with breakfast included. Kitchen, free wifi, clean bathroom and bedding. It's on a very busy street, but you can walk to Red Lobster, Outback Steakhouse, Applebees and other local places to eat. Nordstrom Rack, Starbucks, McDonalds... More

This hotel has very nice staff, and a generous breakfast. The exterior is well maintained and the walkways and gardens are quite pretty. There's shopping and dining nearby. On the inside, the rooms need updating. The kitchens are dark and appliances are ancient. The cabinets need refacing, the carpet and bathroom flooring all needs to go. Beds are not the... More

I had stayed in the Natomas Residence Inn and thoroughly enjoyed it; however, my expectations were somewhat dashed by the Cal Expo Residence Inn. It seems more antiquated and in need of expansion and modernization. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, but the social/reception area needs to be expanded--way too crowded. I did not get a sense of true assistance... More

The price is a little steep but when you take in the overall picture it turned out to be worth the price of admission. The reason you get an apt. style room with a mini kitchen to cook so you save on not going out to restaurants and cooking meals in the room. And the continental breakfast was decent and... More

We've been staying at this Residence Inn for over 20 years whenever we visit Sacramento and we were there recently. The rooms have been updated since our last stay - new cabinets in the kitchen, new furniture, flat screen tv's, etc. and a small work-out room has been added. The swimming pool/hot tub area is still basic but very clean... More

We had a family reunion in Sacramento, so wanted a hotel that was reasonable, with rooms for families with small children, and convenient to our location. This is a good find. Check-in was friendly and fast, and we found the room to be immaculate and inviting. Our room was called the Penthouse suite w/loft, which really was a room on... More

Over the past 16 years I stayed at this hotel numerous times. I actually got fed up with it in 2003. At that time the pool was filthy, the front desk surley and uncooperative, and the bed uncomfortable. I switched to another Residence Inn and stayed there for the next three years. Then there was a four year hiatus. This... More

I had to stay here for 4 days for some work training and did not really care for the place. My first room had a serious air conditioning problem, it didn't work but the maintenance guy kept telling me it was a little slow and to be patient. After 5 hours he agreed it didn't work so I had to... More
