You know what to expect when you decide to stay at a Super 8: not a Marriott, not even a Holiday Inn Express. Giving this hotel a 4-Star rating means it is a good choice within the chain of Super 8 hotels. Reason is that the old motel was totaly remodeled recently. Everything is new - from windows, doors, A/C and carpets to furniture, lamps and TV. The beds are by Simmons and very firm, good for back pain sufferers. The owners had to work with the minimal space available from the old motel. I had a King Bed room which was at the border of tolerable in size. The bathroom was one of the smallest I have ever seen: hardly enough standing room for one person! No fan! But I must admit that inside the rooms everything looks much prettier than in the usual run down Super 8 motels. The common areas are still unattractive and not well cleaned.
