What a wonderful romantic experience at this charming B&B. The owners, Roy and Barbara couldn't have been more accommodating, the room was beautifully decorated in simple elegance, it was spotless and the meals were abundant and delicious. It seemed like most, if not all, of the rooms had balconies with lovely views. The Inn is centrally located between Youngville &... more

This is a wonderful bed & breakfast right in the heart of Napa Valley wine country with access to walking paths, bike routes and of course all of the best wineries. The hosts here are what make it so special. They are very curteous and friendly. I wanted to have breakfast after my morning walk, and they were happy to... more

No sound insulation, we couldn't sleep for the snoring in another room, then someone got up at 5am, went out to the common room which is just outside the guest rooms' hollow core doors, and started playing some dice game. There was also a horrible cooking smell which did not dissipate until the next day (or we just got used... more

I attended a conference in St Helena. Five nights in the same hotel can be very good or very bad. This was great! The common rooms and bedrooms were immaculate. The breakfasts were delightful, fresh, and filling. The owners and staff went the extra mile to accommodate people with food allergies or special dietary needs. The owners told me that... more

Tucked away in the hills north of St. Helena, this B&B was an amazing and romantic stay for our second wedding anniversary. Each room is beautiful, the grounds are green and surrounded by trees. The owner, Roy, was an outstanding host. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique, personal B&B in the beautiful hills of Napa. more

Our business rents the entire place for our Christmas Party. We have done this 3-4 times. This year, I was very impressed with the accommodations. The owner's replaced the ugly shag carpet with tile flooring. The Innkeeper was very chatty, but nice. The appetizer's that welcomed us were delicious. The breakfast was even better. I was very impressed with the... more

The house and location is very charming but we felt like we were staying at an overly chatty, overly accommodating relative's house that we were obligated to be friendly with. My husband and I were on a romantic getaway and wanted quiet, private, alone time. While Tracy, the innkeeper, couldn't be nicer... we couldn't get her to stop talking. She... more

We were excited to stay at The Spanish Villa Inn after seeing such beautiful photos on their website. We were, however, sadly and extremely disappointed. This B&B was hardly the "Villa" we expected or paid $200 a night for. For one thing, it's small. From the driveway and the parking lot, to the lobby, where four breakfast tables are cramped... more

I stayed at the Spanish Villa in St. Helena over Labor Day weekend with my husband. The B&B was full but it was remarkably quiet and well kept. It is tucked about a mile away from the highway. The house is just adorable with large and well kept grounds. The bed in our room was sooo comfortable. All rooms had... more

Our experience was good at this cute cozy place. The rooms were beautiful and clean as well as the grounds. Each room has a patio which was nice. It's tucked away in the wooded hills near St. Helena, so the area was quiet and off the busy roads. A romantic restaurant with great food is the Culinary Institute which is... more
