We wanted to go somewhere romantic -- but not over the top -- for our 11th anniversary. I wanted to play golf, my wife wanted to spa, and we both wanted to drink good wine and eat good food. That ruled out Auberge (no golf course) and the Carneros Inn (too far south). Meadowood seemed like the perfect place. And... more

I stay at many 5 star hotels and know and appreciate excellent service, well appointed rooms and good food. Meadwood has it all. I recommend it for a family or business person visiting the Napa area. We had a fireplace in our suite which the staff ignited for us when needed. Nice touch. Next time I will schedule more time... more

We stayed at the Meadowood for three nights with our two young children in March. We were very nervous about planning a trip to Napa with young children (23 months and 3 months-old), but it turned out to be a great time of year to go since it's off season. We liked this hotel because it felt like we had... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Meadowood this Christmas and had a truly wonderful experience. Our Oakview room had a great big wood-burning fireplace, the most comfortable bed I've slept in in a long time, and a great bathroom with a truly inviting tub. We ate a decadent Christmas Eve dinner at the hotel restaurant for part of their... more

After a busy school year and too much business travel, I longed to be in a secluded place with my family. I didn't want to travel far and decided to stay at Meadowood, a magical resort surrounded by trees, flowers and vineyards, offering discreet but incredibly attentive service. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing, lost among white roses, rosemary,... more

We have visited Meadowwood with friends who are members, but this was the virst time that we actually stayed on the property. I agree with one of the reviewers that the rooms need updating. The carpet is warm, the furniture is uncomfortable, although the bed and linens were quite nice. No bathtub in our room, which was a disappointment. However,... more

This place was great. We stayed in a tree top room that was very clean and private. Restaurants at the hotel are awesome, The Restaurant at the Meadowood is an absolute MUST! Staff is very attentive, just give them a call and they will be there pronto. Spa was very nice. Just a note, get a car if you stay... more

Lovely room, wonderful location. Food at The Grill for breakfast and dinner was disappointing and overpriced. Generally we felt let down by Meadowood - there was a lack of service unless requested - we even had to ask for ice to be delivered to the room. We came back to our room one morning after a walk in the grounds... more

We didn't stay at Meadowood but I have to say that we would have based up on how helpful the reservation person was! Unfortunately they are booked for Columbus Day weekend. Never the less the reservationist helped me find another hotel that looks just as nice and is brand new (Westin Hotel Verasa, Napa). How many hotels do you know... more

We stayed for one night in a treetop room. The room was nice however pretty shabby and definitely in need of a remodel for the rate we were charged. It was nice to see the flat screen TV but overall it was somewhat of a dated room with pretty worn carpet and a musty smell when we entered. I did... more
