Nice room. Took the $1.50 upgrade to the executive room. Huge desk and recliner. Hot breakfast included sausage & eggs and u-cook waffles. Large breakfast room. Within 100 yards of several fast food, sandwich, and sit-down restaurants. Just far enough from the freeway so you can see it but not hear it. Secure location, friendly staff.

I have stayed at La Quinta Modesto/Salida and each time it has always been a great experience. The Young lady that checked me in is also pleasant and always remember me from previous visits even if it's been over a month. Very nice La Quinta-easy to find and very friendly staff. Room was clean and quiet just how I like it! Large breadkfast room can accomidate a large crowd. Evening reception on Wed.was very nice touch!

I confess I was fearful of my stay here in Salida, California. My fears were unfounded. As nice as the four star hotels I stay at in Hong Kong. Location is good, but rooms are much smaller. Also, our room wasn't completely made up when got here - all the pillows were on one bed and had no pillow cases. There are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. Just a little disappointed compared to our last La Quinta stay.

Excellent service and accomodations. Highly recommend. Staff is excellent. Quiet, comforting and food quality is excellent. Will stay again. If you don't want to eat at hotel, there are other places nearby for added variety.
