Almost brand new Holiday Inn Express on the edge of town, overlooking artichoke fields (a certain Norma Jean was the first Artichoke Queen). 3 in our party so were upgraded to suite with separate bedroom, bathroom, living room with sofa bed and compact kitchen area plus desk with free internet. From our point of view, this smoke-free hotel is as good as it gets. The property was new-appearing, the beds were comfortable and the shower was a good one. This is an excellent, new property. Rooms are clean and professionally decorated. The staff is friendly and courteous. The location is easy to find and convenient. Most rooms are suites with a frig, microwave, bar sink. The beds were some of the most comfortable we have ever had -- even in a 5-star hotel! We would definitely stay here again.... more
