Got stuck in a room that had been converted to non-smoking after Marriott went all smoke-free. Even after two or three years, this room still reeks of stale tobacco smoke! The location has little freeway or street noise. Ok in a pinch. If you are a non smoker, try to say away from converted rooms! more

Celebrated Mom's birthday there. Many family from our of town stayed 1-2 nights. The Courtyard Marriott in Salinas seems to be a new facility. The staff is learning the ropes, so to speak. Everyone was very friendly, although the clerks couldn't recommend any restaurants in the area - a bit disappointing. It was clean and safe - i would stay there again. more
