I was booked here by the company I represent. I usually stay at the Howard Johnson, but I was pleased with my stay here. The staff was friendly and rooms very clean. I believe it's under new management and their breakfast was better than most I've seen. I would say the worst part is the proximity to the highway. more

Was staying in Salinas to play golf at Pebble Beach but didn't want to pay 250 per night. Decided to stay in Salinas for around 75 per night. The staff was very helpful with directions to Pebble Beach and Monterey. The rooms were clean and had microwaves and fridges which was a real plus. more

We picked days inn because it looked decent when we were looking for hotels in salinas. We were extremely disappointed when we first saw the hotel. The area is near the freeway, industrial factories, and transients. Even though our room is away from the freeway you can feel the room shake as the big trucks and other vehicles pass by.... more
