We stayed here for 4 nights. We were fully aware of 2 things prior to booking, 1) the train tracks in front of the hotel and 2) the Sunset bar on the ground floor. What a great place. The location is perfect...across from the San Clemente Pier. The sunset view was worth the stay. Marjorie was so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was phenominal. This is an awesome place for a honeymoon or other romantic get away. We will be back!

We spent one evening at Casa Tropicana in the San Clemente room and really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, and the refrigerator was stocked with snacks and drinks. We had to leave early the next day and were going to miss breakfast, so the staff placed the equivalent of a continental breakfast in our fridge the night before....
