I was referred to this property by a friend who stayed recently for a business trip. So, On my way back from Bakersfield I decided to rest for the night and try the hotel out. Stayed at the Budget Lodge before but their rooms are very ugly and they smell of smoke.

For the price you get so many amenities its awesome. Only has 15 rooms, but the rooms have amazing and beautiful decor. Flat panel TV's with HDTV, pillowtop mattresses, and a large desk to work on. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered a lot for the $70 a night compared to other hotels in town. You get internet access, a couch which becomes a sleeper sofa, and shutters in the rooms instead of traditional drapes. What other hotel gives you shutters? Also, all the rooms are non-smoking making it even better for those of us with asthma and allergies.

Check-in did take a little while and the maid forgot to put coffee in the room, but that was fixed by a simple phone call to the front desk. I would... more
