I am a hockey mom for St. Louis, Missouri! I book travel for a youth hockey club (8 teams) for our out of town tournaments. This year we were travelling to San Jose, CA. I worked with a women in the sales department who was extremely nice and helpful! She was always willing to help me or get my questions... more

Stayed for couple days the week of July 26. Reviews from others are very accurate. Hotel room was very clean, but nothing special. Bed had five pillows, each different in style for comfort. Bed was clean and comfortable. Fitness room very small. Wireless access is good (need to manually add SSID name). Asked for a mini refrigerator, and they brought... more

As a former Hyatt property you’d assume this place would be pretty nice but really it’s just nothing special, 3 stars on a good day, 2.5 if you plan to spend a lot of time on the property. Upsides: The rooms are clean, everything works, the place is fairly safe although they post security guards a little too often for... more

Scene Opens: Weary traveler arrives San Jose Airport. Follows signs to ground transportation, finds phone board to call hotel. Two other Holiday Inns listed, but the airport location is not. Must cost money to be listed. Call directory assistance, call is connected. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring. (picks up) Click. Dial tone. Had hands... more

I stayed there for five days to attend an event at the convention center. The reservation was made for me. They have free parking and there is a light rail stop beside the hotel that allows getting downtown easily. The rooms are in several different buildings as cited by several people. I was in building 8. The room was a... more

First of all, the hotel is a maze of buildings that is very hard to maneuver. In addition, their service stinks. The first room had a musky smell. I immediately moved. The second room also had a smell but not quite as bad. Plus, it was dull and dingy. Against my better judgment, I stayed. This room turned out to... more

The Bad: Check-in was pleasant enough. But the guy at the counter asked us if we’d prefer smoking or non; and when we said “non;” he said, “Well, with Priceline – they always just assign the SMOKING rooms.” Okaaay. (These days – the classy hotels like the Hyatt and Hilton diplomatically just say something like “Oh, your room has already... more

I was barely here long enough to warrant reviewing this hotel. I checked in at around 1am, slept, woke up at 9am and left. Bed was comfortable, no complaints. Luckily it was cheap for me... I got a $54/night rate on Priceline! more

This hotel is very uneven. It is updated, but the renovation was fairly low quality and is starting to show wear. As an example, I had two different lamp shades on my desk and bed table. Both were falling off. Does that ruin the room? No, but it does make you wonder how well taken care the room is taken... more

This is a great place to stay. It used to be a Hyatt, and Holiday Inn did a very nice job on the rooms. Now the rooms are small (showing the age of the property) but they have been redone VERY nicely. Staff was great, pool is beautiful (huge), amenities were first rate. more
