The Doubletree Hotel, San Jose is a short distance from the airport, downtown venues, shopping centers and freeways. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. room and gym were very good; Just be sure to take your own water bottle or cup to the gym as they only have a drinking fountain. Came back to my room and had a cup of hot tea and my welcome cookie while I crawled under the covers and did some email from bed. Very good hotel. more

I would recomend this hotel if you have an early morning flight out of the San Jose airport. Other than that it is not a good hotel for long stays. There are no fridges in the rooms. Also, the breakfast buffet is $18. Furthermore, the rooms are outdated and mine was durty. There was dog food left in my closet... more
