I've been going to Sycamore Springs with family since 2003. The property is definetely unique with the mineral hot springs. I like the nature surroundings and the out door tubs. I do have to say that they need to upgrade their rooms. The carpet is old and the furniture is out dated. Also the service is not consistent. The front... more

If you like hot pools and the like, this is the place for you! Not only can you get a jacuzi for your room (always mineral water but may or may not be sulfur) but the rentable redwood hot tubs are quite nice as well. I booked the lowest priced room in the Harmony Building (this is where the rooms... more

We arrived at Sycamore Springs ready for some relaxation after a particularly gruely fall and winter work schedule. The rooms were clean yet somewhat reminiscent of Howard Johnson. The service was young and unprofessional at times. The overall experience however was great. This place defines shabby chic. Our first room was nice, but the hot tub didn't work. They put... more

I spent Xmas Eve and Xmas day at Sycamore Mineral Springs, and overall my stay was excellent. I was in a fresh water luxery suite, specifically "Persistance." It is the handicap accessible suite and is slightly larger than the others for the same price. The hot tub is also enclosed with a fence so you have more privacy. There is... more

First, while trying to book a room we had a hard time getting through to anyone who would take a reservation. We were repeatedly put on hold then transferred to voice mail and then the phone would disconnect. We persisted because we were looking forward to a wonderful visit. When we arrived at 3:00 p.m. for our stay, we were... more

My husband and I have been to many destination resorts. This place did not quite do it for us. We stayed in the "Meadows" in "Divine". It was not divine. My husband said the furniture looked like it came from a garage sale. The bathroom looked newly remodeled however. On the positive, the rooms are large and the T.V.s are... more

Every room and/or cottage has their own deck with hot tub. The West Meadows cottages (we stayed in Wishful) is like a small house on stilts in the woods. Fireplace, big living room, and big bedroom. Restaurant is great! We got room service. There is a mineral spring main pool, redwood hot tubs you can book up the mountain, yoga... more

The true joy of staying at Sycamore Mineral Springs extends beyond the room. Our home is in the forests of Oregon with a lovely spring, landscaped with huge ferns and 300 year old trees. We feel like we are on permanent vacation, so when we do leave our choice for lodging has to be aesthetic. We choose Sycamore because of... more

If you can afford it, I recommend that you book one of the 2 story town houses just up the hill away from the main buildings. This suite was very quiet and private. The upstairs can be closed off from the downstairs, so 2 couples or a family with kids can have privacy. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable.... more

Heater was broken in room and unable to be fixed that night. We spent a cold sleepless night. When we complained at check out the next day, the front desk clerk informed us that the room would not be rented until it was fixed and handed us a comment card. I've never stayed at a hotel that cared less about... more
