Good choice. Privately owned so not the usual motel chain blandness of decor and breakfast. Situated toward the top of Monterery Street there is a convenient trolley service into town or a 15 minute walk. We had a room facing the road. If we had been staying longer the rooms to the rear of the property might have been preferable.... more

The Peach Tree was recommended by a friend. The front desk was extremely professional and friendly and the breakfast was delicious. I was disappointed with the room as it was old and had a musty smell. The bathroom is small and the shower is not meant for anyone that is tall or large. more
