SLO lodging options are all pretty expensive so with that in mind, this is one of the cheaper options and good enough if all you need is a roof over your head and a hot shower. The good is that it has decent shower (as mentioned in the previous review - they remodeled the bathroom), with tons of channels on... more
The lodge was average from the outside, as expected. The location is very good for SLO. And the surpise was that the room was not outdated. The bathroom was remodeled with slate tile and curved curtain bar. For the money I was very happy. more
I had a 6 night reservation. After the first night I complained about the lack of hot water, and was told that it was due to the room upstairs using water at the same time. Day 2 complaint response was "watch your tongue" ( I used no curse words, but did express my frustration). Day 3 complaint response was, "I'm... more
stayed one night on my way to San Francisco ... its okay for one night but don't except anything else then a bed ( not very comfortable ) and a telly. It was very basic and clean so if you are on a budget for one night i think it would be okay. Also it s walking distance to the... more
We stayed here for a night whilst travelling down the west coast from San Francisco to LA as San Luis is roughly half way between the two cities. If I was to rate the hotel based on what we were looking for - a cheap, clean and handy place to stay for a stopover - I would give it full... more

There was a small refrigerator and microwave available and an extra large (recently remodled?) bathroom. No complaints from my wife or 2 teenage sons. The wi-fi worked great (no desk if you have work to do-just a... more
I didn't really expect much when booking a room here, but I were in for a really welcome surprise. Rooms are large and clean, with comfortable beds, microwave, and all you would expect to find in a hotel room. The hotel is placed on the "motel strip" on the outskirts of SLO, but is far enough removed from the 101... more
We stayed here a couple weeks ago on our way up to San Francisco. The room we had was really clean as well as nice and big. They even had it decorated with the Travelodge Bear bedcovers, lamps, wallpaper border etc. Our only complaint is the people upstairs had small kids or baby elephants running around until 11:30 pm. After... more
Stopped off for one night while driving PCH.Phoned them up the morning we left Santa Barbara very polite.Checked in room ok ,only problem was a cackling hag in the adjoining room making lots of noise and a "romantic" couple on the other side.Didnt really bother me though.Could nt get wifi to work in the room but seemed ok in reception(this... more
