My boyfriend and I came to the Madonna Inn the day after Valentine's Day. We are not familiar with the area and were a bit lost so we called the hotel to ask for a little help. The first time we called the girl rudely told my boyfriend she didn't know what street we were on and hung up on... More

The Modonna Inn is one of those places you put on the "I need to do that at least once" list. The rooms were very nice but needed some updating. The pillows were not pillows just a bunch of hard balls. (I think maybe original from opening day). And the beds are very hard. But we enjoyed the unique styles of... More

The Madonna Inn is well worth a visit, if only to browse the shop, or have a look around the Inn which is a unique experience - apparently the gents toilets are worth a look!! We stayed in the Captains Bridge room which was again really unique if not a little too dark. We had dinner in the restaurant which... More

An amazingly gratorious hotel. The staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. Although not able to book the room we really really wanted (as you have to nominate a few rooms) the hotel did book us into our first choice which was Yahoo, the cowboy room. It was truly brilliant, complete with a starry starry ceiling. A hotel like no... More

We just got home from a weekend stay at The Madonna Inn. It was a very nice experience. We stayed in the Traveler's Suite (room 157) and it was HUGE!!! There are two king size beds as well as two large chairs and an enormous sofa. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was really nice from the front desk... More

For years I dreamed of spending a night...or more...at the Madonna Inn. It's known for it themed rooms and pampering. The Inn was a pleasant surprise because of the new upgrades to the old hotel. We stayed in one of the "rock" rooms which makes taking a shower a whole new experience. Our room came with a waterfall in the... More

Hubby took me to the Madonna Inn for a surprise birthday get-away. When we first drove up, I was struck by all the pink, and I like pink so that was OK. We checked in and drove up the hill to our room, which unfortunately, was on the 3rd floor. No prob...let's take the elevator...ut oh, NO elevator! So, hubby... More

Ok, everyone should spend a night or so at the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo one time in their life. The owners like pink and it is evident in the small details of the property. They also like to decorate their rooms according to a theme (every room is unique) and sometimes they can be a little garish. BUT... More

This review is only about the Copper Restaurant. We came in to try to famous Champagne cake and some other varieties. We got 4 pieces of cake and paid $35! WTF??? The cake was stale and did not have a good flavor. We saw that they made the cakes every day so not sure why they were stale. For that... More
