The hotel itself was not memorable. There were no glaring issues with the quality of the rooms. I appreciated the free self-serve breakfast. What stood out the most was the staff at the front desk. They were always courteous and helpful with a cheerful attitude.

Attentive, professional, helpful staff, clean room, great breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. Only con is that it's awkward to get to from the highway (101). Great for downtown San Mateo and access to San Jose, San Francisco.

Have stayed at this location previously based on its convenience to work assignment. Clean and well maintained facility. Front desk staff is consistently friendly and helpful. Workout room is available.

Great curb appeal, nicely appointed rooms, decent breakfast. Also nice location near SFO airport. Only downside is that there's no pool and the hot tub is outside in an ally like area and was way too hot.
