Ok, so remember that it's a Motel 6. The man at the check in counter was very helpful, to be honest service at check in was better than most holiday inns, courtyard marriotts etc. The room was very small, but also clean and well kept. Location was good, on state street just a short drive from UCSB and the beach.... more

I stayed in this hotel one night with my family (4 persons) ; we had just enough place to turn around the beds (140cm large each) and I spent all the night knocking against the cooler... the staff was not helpfull and was angry to have been disturbed from his TV !!! The water flowed in the pipes all night,... more

It may be the cheapest property in Santa Barbara. It' not near the beach or the downtown but remember the sunshine is still the same and is free. The furnishings are threadbare and you get all of one thin slab of soup. However, the pool is nice and considering this is the #2 Motel 6 in the chain (in age)... more

We stayed here on 4/7 having been unable to secure any other accommodation in Santa Barbara as it is was the holiday weekend. My boyfriend had stayed in other motel 6's on the East coast and he found them fine. For a start State street is very long. We were over 3 miles from centre of town. Hotel was easily... more
