We just stayed at the Four Seasons for Mother's Day Weekend and had a fabulous time. They upgraded us from a Standard room to a Deluxe Room at no additional cost. The room isn't huge, but it was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. There was a huge walk in closet (perfectly accomodated the crib for our daughter, so... more

Fabulous property. Another Four Seasons that just knows how to do it right. We stayed for three nights last summer in a nice suite that overlooked the croquet lawn. My family had a blast. The room was spotless and very comfortable with a king bed and pull out sofa. On the last night a wedding reception was occurring in a... more

What a gorgeous place! It's across the street -- no barriers, small street -- from the ocean and set on beautiful grounds. The building is beautifully preserved and has the gracious presence of an earlier era. How unfortunate I was there on business because the room was lovely and would have been very romantic given the right company. The room... more

After staying at this property for a little less than a week, I am left with some uncertainty as to how to review it. It is a very attractive property but I cannot characterize it as superb. Perhaps it is the quality of the staff that is spotty which left me feeling that something was missing. As noted by others,... more

Excellent on every level. The hotel feels very intimate in scale. The service was impeccable. I had an excellent spa treatment & two fantastic meals. It rained the whole weekend and I didn't even care! My view was not the best (faced the back parking lot) but that was because the hotel was at capacity when I made my reservation.... more

This is one of the finest resorts in North America. The common areas are made for relaxation and the enjoyment of the guests. The staff is 5 star! Expensive, but worth it! more

This was quite possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in and I've stayed in quite a few over the years! The service was impeccable. We were upgraded to a fireplace room with a small terrace with a huge bed, wonderful bathroom and champagne and strawberries! Dinner was superb and, once again, the service was wonderful without being stuffy... more

This hotel is almost Heaven on earth. The staff is professional, but not stiff. We used a gift certificate to pay for our stay ,and we never felt that we didn't belong there. Yes, the hotel is expensive, but the staff at the front desk will remind you that if you move your car from the valet and self- park... more

You can't be disappointed by the laid back charm of this beautiful property. The main issues are that the rooms are not ocean front or even view, despite being right next to the ocean. The bungalows and rooms are perfectly decorated with all the best furnishings and nice amenities. Service is a little choppy, more professional than personal, but very... more

My wife and I toured the CA coast and our last 4 nights were spent at the Four Seasons. We booked through American Express. Overall, we were delighted with the location and the hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive. The only place we noticed any problem was at times slow service in the restaurant, but the food was... more
