We, like the previous review, experienced some of the same problems. We have been staying at this hotel for several years when it was under different ownership. Our requested king jacuzzi room had been reserved a couple of months in advance. Upon checking in, we were advised that the requested room was out of order because the jacuzzi was broken.... more

It was a mistake, and a huge ripoff to stay at Country Inn by the Sea. We paid $150 for two beds mid-week, and $300 for the room on Friday. We had a wonderful vacation in Santa Barbara. The Country Inn was comfortable, and the manager, Samantha, was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was cozy, breakfasts are great. We will definitely return! more
