This hotel may be a little dated but it is in a great location in central Santa Barbara. The bed was comfy and parking is available onsite. It is just a few seconds walk from the main street, The staff were friendly and helpful. I wouldn't put to much hope on the breakfast, it wasn't the best.

The staff and the Hotel is very nice. There is just No parking at all. You are have a lot to see within walking distant of the hotel. Just make sure you have a place to park before you leave the hotel as they don't have a lot of places to park. The rooms are nice and cozy and clean.

after attending a wine-tasting in santa maria, called the holiday inn express-santa barbara as i was driving down the coast to los angeles. they gave a wonderful rate even though they were almost sold out. recognized me as a platinum priority member. very nice room. spacious and clean. decent breakfast.

The walls of this hotel are very thin and voices are easily heard through the walls. My son's room was next door with his bathroom sharing a wall with our bathroom. We stayed here for one night with our 2 kids. Parking the car, checking in went like a breeze. We were offered complementary water, maps, wifi without asking. Great service. Hotel is 10m walking from the (not so nice) beach area. Main street is around the corner. Good beds, small but all-you-need bathroom.
