Embassy Suites in Santa Clara is an adequate hotels for anyone who is travelling on business. The best thing is the evening reception that lasts for a couple of hours. This is my first choice when traveling to Santa Clara. Convenient, clean, polite friendly staff. Room service is prompt, food is usually good (not always consistent). Rooms are quiet on the even side, not so quiet on the odd half of the building (overlooks a freeway). Parking is well lit, I feel safe as a woman traveling alone. more

I was told upon checkin that my reservation specifically requested a smoking room, which is not true. My travel agent is AMEX, and my profile has included nonsmoking king for at least 10 years.
