Stayed at this quaint little hotel last week. Great front desk clerks with their greetings, always smiling! Seems like the owners have renovated this hotel a lot recently. This is one of two motels available near Canyon Country & Santa Clarita. The other is the Travelodge, which is filthy & disgusting. This one is quite a step up! My Wife and I stayed in this little Super 8 motel on Sierra Hwy. The motel was close to everything. The rooms were clean and the staff treated us well. I was in Santa Clarita for a family reunion. Normally I don't like to stay in hotels. But this one was very clean, the staff was polite, and the bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel. more

This motel needs renovation and cleaning badly; i.e., rugs are stained and dirty, walls are caked with wall paper patches, room smells and cigarette smoke comes through the vents, showerhead didn't work, the wash basin faucet handles were dirty. Hotel was DIRTY! Rooms smelled of smoke & urine. Carpet very dirty, showers gross, film in bathtub. Used condom found behind lamp stand. Phone inoperable, 2/3 of lightbulbs in bathroom not working. When notified hotel manager of problems with uncleaniness, all he did was smirk and offer little if any apology! General lack of maintenance. Sign stated "NO PETS ALLOWED"... more
