Stayed here one night with my daughter. The woman at the front desk was very pleasant & courteous. Charged $79 (not including tax). Was told there was no AAA discount "on the $79 room." The room had one queen bed with a mini fridge, MW, & large TV (27" ?). No hair dryer. Bathroom was very roomy with a large shower (no tub). The room was very dated & basic, but clean, decent, & comfortable. The Santa Cruz Diner, open 24 hrs, was within walking distance (about 1 1/2 blocks) on the same side of the street. We had breakfast there - nice atmosphere, a wide selection of dishes to choose from, & the food was very good. more
