Price reflects location very near the boardwalk. There are closer non-chain hotels / motels w/ ocean view, but did not check prices. This super 8, unlike the Super 8 'west', has a fresh remodel with clean rooms, tight, but ample parking, and short 3 block walk to boardwalk. No complaints. more

This motel is in a good location for the beach boardwalk. However if you prefer quieter or more pictureesque location West Cliff Drive looks nice. That said the service at this motel was very friendly. Tip: If you are travelling from San Francisco a detour via highway 9 and the Big Basin Redwoods State Park is well worth the journey. more
