This was the most disgusting place I've ever spent the night. I should have known immediately, but only recognized the odor of poison afterwards. Went to Santa Cruz for a wedding, and did not want to spend a fortune. Most of the people in the wedding party stayed at the Best Western down the street, paying over $180 per night. If you plan to be here more than a week, call the motel directly to find out about their weekly rates (which are not posted online). We stayed in a 2 bed, full kitchenette unit for 11 days for just a little over $600.00. You do the math. This older motel is a work in progress, so room quality varies.... more
