Location is the key here. Right across the street from the main Boardwalk entrance. You can park in their lot during the day and get your room after the 3 p.m. check-in time (just go in and let them know and they'll give you the parking slip). The first time my we stayed here was in October 2004 when our normally favorite hotel was booked and we were not disappointed as with this last trip.
