I'm not sure which Coastview Inn these other reviewers stayed in, but our experience was that the room was beyond filthy, the beds uncomfortable and smelly and the shower lukewarm (not to mention impossible to start wtithout directions). Great little place to stay if you want to relax on the beach or enjoy the boardwalk. The hotel is literally situated over the road from the boardwalk, and a stone’s throw from a few little places you can grab a bite to eat. Like many of the previous reviews pointed out, this hotel is located right near the boardwalk. The area felt a little touristy and sketchy, but the ocean was right across the street, so I certainly couldn't complain about that! And yeah, the room is pretty bare bones for what you pay, but it's hard to find someplace cheaper in Santa... more
