I recently spent three nights at Shutters with my girlfriends. This resort is amazing. 5 star service, food and accommodation. I would highly recommend this resort for a couple's weekend, a weekend with the family (yes young kids included) or a girls' weekend. We will definitely be returning next year!

This is a gem, and has been for 20 years now. A beautiful property, casually elegant, right on the beach, with some world class art on the walls. I stay at Shutters several times a year and it remains one of my favorite hotels in the US. Impeccable service, great location, fantastic restaurants and a relaxed but elegant atmosphere. This is a must stay hotel.

Special place We stayed here the night we got married on the beach in Santa Monica. Staff v helpful Food wonderful and reasonably priced for this sort of hotel. Just back from a wonderful stay at Shutters. The room, staff and hotel were fabulous with no complaints. Our original room had no balcony and I asked the front desk if one was available. They quickly accomodated us without a hitch to a beautiful balcony room. Very professional staff. Loved it!
