My husband and I truly loved this place. The Innkeepers have kept the beautiful original 100-year-old fixtures in the lobby and replicated wherever possible to keep the beautiful vintage ambience. There are no two rooms exactly alike and we intend to go back and stay in some of the other rooms just for fun. The bed was comfortable and the... more

This was honestly one of the most relaxing and memorable weekends of my life. I was hoping for a "weekend getaway" with my boyfriend and we stumbled upon the Glenn Tavern in Santa Paula. Upon checking in, the front desk clerk enchanted us with the glorious history of the inn and the city. We had requested a renovated jacuzzi room... more

I needed to go to Ventura for a business trip and found this hotel in Santa Paula (only 15 min away from Ventura). I dislike commerical cookie cutter hotels and decided to give this hotel a try. The hotel is 100+ years old its very unique and mysterious. The staff was very kind and helpful. Its very cozy and I... more

Wow! Talk about bang for your buck. The Staff was awesome, very welcoming and informative. The rooms were huge and freshly renovated, which i requested. The main street is walking distance with an irish pub and coffee shop. We will definitely return! more

Horrible experience. We booked a two night stay with the mystery dinner theater and ended up leaving after midnight after only being in the hotel a few hours. We had the penthouse suite, which was dirty and oddly designed. Starting about 10:00 PM, a loud party began in the "apartments," which are actually attached to the hotel. The party involved... more

This is a beautiful historic hotel with a lot of potential. Some rooms are upgraded with luxurious bathrooms, jacuzzi tubs and flat screen TVs, others have not yet been renovated. Our room was one of the remodeled suites, very comfortable, but spare with a tile floor. A rug on the floor would have made it more warm and inviting. There... more

The room was very nice with a very nice bathroom. Quiet except for the occasional conversation heard from the lobby restroom next door. Staff could use some good training on how to work with guests. Desk staff far too interested in personal telephone call and internet usage. Restaurant was supposed to open at 8 AM, still wasn't ready to serve... more

Found the inn by chance. We go there every chance we get now.. The managers 2 night special is an awesome deal. The shopping outlets in Camarillo are less than 30 minutes away and Santa Barbara is about an hour away, so there are plenty of things to do around Santa Paula. Highly recommend Familia Diaz Restaurant on 10th street... more

We stayed here to attend a family Xmas dinner gathering at a house nearby; family members recommended the hotel. The room was nothing particularly special, but was comfortable and quiet, and the lobby quite nice. The old movie posters added a tough of historic atmosphere. The desk clerk did not know what room in which Houdini stayed, but pointed out... more

Staying here over the weekend to attend a weekend course in clock repair at the nearby downtown Odd Fellows Lodge was the best decision. It's centrally convenient to downtown San Paula, which was in full swing displaying overhead banners for 'Spooky Paula' ghost walk and Faulkner Farms pumpkin patch for Halloween in the historic, clean and friendly Main Street. This... more
