Our family of 4 (kids age 11 and 13) stayed in a lovely room with a small anteroom where the children each had their own bed. Jacky and Tim were very welcoming and looked after us as if we were family. We stayed for 3 nights and the homecooked breakfast was fabulous and varied every day. We looked forward to... more

I feel a bit bad writing this review in that my significant other and I have been spoiled by getting to stay at a number of the Bed & Breakfasts in Wine Country over the past couple years (we're somewhat "local", living an hour away in San Francisco). Melitta Station Inn is very close to the traditional English B&B experience... more

Tim & Jackie (owners) were very welcoming - Jackie went to great lengths to cater for my gluten-free diet with late-evening cookies, g/f pancakes at breakfast and a wonderful g/f almond cake which she insisted I took some of with me for lunch, also sending us away with local apples and the rest of the cookies! The breakfasts were excellent... more

The first time we stayed at Melitta Inn (Oct. '07) we chose it for the location and ended up with exceptional hospitality. The second time (Aug. '09) we chose it for the hospitality first and also location. Jackie and Tim are ideal B&B innkeepers. Jackie designs excellent breakfasts showcasing the locally grown and organic produce of the area. Tim and... more

Conversation skittered around the Great Room as our group of 7 was showered with Tim and Jackie's hospitality. From food that was fit for the gods to beds of enormous comfort, I simply "cared for." My room was closest to the gathering area, yet remained blissfully quiet when I retreated. Tim and Jackie's charming warmth and delightful humor were simply... more

Our group of 7 stayed there and the hospitality was beyond perfection. Like so many other reviewers I felt the food was exquisite! Freshly baked goodies were always available. Tim and Jackie are accomodating without being suffocating. Our every need was thought of and attended to with grace and cheerfulness. We stayed in the California Suite - beautiful! All in... more

Please note that the "California Suite is really named the CREEKSIDE SUITE, and is available this summer at a special promotional rate of only $20 more than our Queen rooms. With its private patio and entrance through the garden from the parking - the reviewer was absolutely correct that this room is ideal for the perfect romantic escape

My husband and I have stayed twice, both times while visiting relatives nearby, and we won't stay anywhere else when in this area. Although the rooms are small, they are roomy enough for two, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the other amenities top notch. The living room is quite comfy for reading and planning outings, the deck is delightful,... more
