My husband Tony and I were looking to have our own B&B somewhere in the Central Coast and as always, we did our research online, checked out Tripadvisor as well as bedandbreakfast.com and were so excited to stay with Larry and Bonnie at ESI. They have a lovely wine and cheese hour, were incredibly warm hosts and our room, Maverick... more

After enjoying a great picnic at Bridlewood Winery, only 2 miles away, we checked into Edison Street Inn. I had talked to Larry, an innkeeper in the best sense of the word, and was excited to be staying there. The inn itself was impeccable in design and detail. From the warm greeting when we arrived, the beautiful exterior and interior,... more

The Edison Street Inn is a lovely Victorian style B&B a 1/2 block off the main street in downtown Santa Ynez. We have stayed there several times since we discovered the inn 5 years ago. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. They have all the services of a well run B&B. There is fresh coffee in the morning and... more

We stayed at the Edison Street Inn for two nights and found it to be warm, comfortable and elegant. Owners Larry and Bonnie put out a nice selection of meats, cheeses and wine and chatted with us in the wonderful salon the first evening. We learned that this beautiful "Victorian" is actually new and Larry built it from the ground... more

My boyfriend and I went to the Edison Street Inn for our 1st weekend getaway. The owner who built the inn himself was friendly and helpful. There was wine and cheese in the evening, coffee in the a.m.... The room was more then we could have hoped, tastefully decorated, clean, quit. The fireplace, deck, and jacuzzi tub were great. The... more

We stayed a weekend in April, a long-needed get away. Found the Inn online, looked quaint and welcoming, thought it would fit our plans. Booking was a breeze, speaking directly with owner Larry. We arrived very early on the Friday, had no trouble checking in earlier than published hours. Our room (Paladin) was large, well appointed, very comfortable, and welcoming.... more

My husband and I visited the Sana Ynez Wine Country recently and stayed at the Edison Street Inn. We'd planned a quick getaway and needed a room for Saturday night only. It was very difficult to find a hotel or inn that would allow us a one night stay. The innkeeper at the Edison was willing to book a room... more

We've stayed at the Edison Inn a few times now, and found it innkeepers very accommodating and incredibly friendly. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and spacious. Within walking distance of some fantastic restaurants and close to a great deal of wine tasting. If you're looking for a wonderful, relaxing getaway, stay here! more

We have visited the Edison Inn twice so far, and definitely want to visit again. The Inn and its suites are beautifully decorated and well appointed. The gracious host and hostess make you feel right at home, and share their considerable knowledge of the area and its history. While serving delicious local wines and an assortment of cheeses, they are... more
