We were very satified with the hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean, they also have a swimming pool which was really nice. I read reviews before I stay in any hotel. I don't like dirty places or bugs. This place was very nice! My family was happy too. Keep up the good work Best Western. Thanks! more

My husband and I stayed here on 9/3/09 right before the Labor Day weekend. We have stayed here before and loved it. It is a very clean and quiet motel. We paid the AAA rate of $89.10. Despite the time of year, there were not many people staying. We had the pool and spa to ourselves. We got up for... more

We stayed here 3 nights while purchasing property on the coast, and needed to be able to get to one of the beach towns and also over to Sunnyvale several times. This hotel is adjacent to Rte. 17 at an exit (road over the hill between coast and Silicon Valley), but you don't see it or hear the highway noise.... more

While the rooms have not been updated in awhile, they were very clean. The location was pretty quiet, and the pool was nice. It was only a few exits away from downtown Santa Cruz and a lot more inexpensive. more

This is your basic motel, nothing spectacular, but the room we stayed in was very clean. It wasn't spacious, but neither was it cramped like some I have stayed in. I felt at $110 for a basic room in the winter, in the middle of the week it was quite high priced. Especially since the place has been there more... more

I had to go to a wedding in Santa Cruz where hotel prices are out of this world. This place is only about 10 minutes from Santa Cruz and it was a good choice. There is nothing really special about it, but it's clean and the rooms are just fine. The pool area is pretty nice. Only negative is that... more

I took a group of 20 senior adults that were in town to visit Mt Hermon conference center. We wanted a clean, accessible, pleasant and warm place for a possible cold evening in November. Traveling with seniors often poses interesting problems. I found that this property worked as well as any we could have imagined. The rooms were clean, neat,... more

We chose the hotel because it was close to Scotts Valley and Roaring Camp Train, the deciding factor was the 'on site 24 hour Dennys' advertised on the website, as we had been travelling all day and did not want to have to use the car again that evening. The Dennys had long departed and was replaced by a very... more

The staff is rude and the rooms are dirty and smell bad. also beware of bugs and things left under the beds. I actually stayed one night only and left the next day to spend the remaining three days of my trip in another motel. There are only two motels in Scotts Valley, the Hilton is wonderful and if it... more

After a botched reservation in Santa Cruz, we needed a place to stay and decided to head over to Scotts Valley, where I had attended a retreat a few months before. I found out there was a Best Western there and called before arriving. The young clerk was SOOOOO very sweet. This is a GREAT place to stay. Scotts Valley... more
