Nice clean motel. We were just passing through so $28 for the night was great value. Pick up a copy of room saver for great deals on motels, hotels. Breakfast is half a pastry. This place is dirt cheap and only about 7 minutes away from Monterey! Such a great location with plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. You can also park right in front of your room! I stayed here back in August and again this weekend because we felt that this was a nice, simple place to stay. Above average motel considering the very affordable price and one star rating. Located centrally. One complaint -- the bathroom door needs to be fixed so it could walk. Parking is very convenient. more

The place was well maintained with beautiful flowers and plants outside, clean room with fridge, a 15 minute walk to the beach, on site manager, near Monterrey and Pacific Grove, and inexpensive compared to other places in the area. I would definitely stay again. more
