Looks like it was updated since last time I stayed here. Bed was VERY COMFY, new carpet plus a micro/fridge made my stay very pleasant. In spite of high traffic on Fremont St., room was very quiet and a got 5 good nights of sleep during the 5 nights I stayed there. For the price, you could not ask for... more

I booked a room for 2 persons online, since this was one of the only motels that had a room available for the date. We would have needed one extra bed for a third guest, about which I called the property directly and they told me (in bad english) that it would cost about $10 extra. I agreed to this,... more

Ok, first of all that saying "you get what you pay for" well it applies here. If you go expecting the Marriott you will be disappointed. Me and my 2 daughters didn't go with that attitude and we were quite satisfied. The room was very very clean and quiet. The staff was extremely pleasant and attentive, the manager even called... more

We stayed here this past weekend and it was the worst hotel/motel experience I have ever had. When we arrived there were a bunch of men standing in an alley towards the back of the motel that were boozing it up and yelling extremely loudly. It's not the kind of place where you expect to park your car and actually... more

Upon seeing that this hotel was reviewed decently and rates were at the right price, I booked a room. The neighborhood gave me the "I dont think myself/my car is so safe here" feeling. The lady at the front desk (who didn't speak the language) just stared at me for over a minute before getting the manager, who was kinda... more

The architecture/building is great..too bad they don't care enough to take care of it. The only nice thing is the cool metal thunderbird sculpture on the exterior from 1950. The room we were given was across from the dumpster of the nearby Diner-so it smelled the room up all night-as there was no air-conditioning. The owners were grumpy and the... more

This motel is an older one that has been recently updated. The motel rooms had new windows and doors with electronic card access locks like most modern hotels. The bed was comfortable and the bed linens were clean and not torn or badly worn. The exterior was recently painted and the parking lot had enough parking spots. The carpet was... more

Great room and rate and the room/bathroom was spotless. But if you are an early riser don’t expect continental breakfast. Coffee was not even out until after 8:10 am and the bite size muffin chunks appeared to be Costco muffins cut into 1/10ths and served on a plate. more

We stayed at the motel 6 and had some problems, so we trekked around looking for another motel. We stay at the Thunderbird on N. Fremont St. in Seaside (only 10 min. from Monterey). We got an EXCELLENT price ($45 per night for 10 nights) plus high speed internet FOR FREE! The rooms are older but very clean. The owner... more
