The motel was a bit isolated if you wanted to walk out for a bite to eat, but ok if you were willing to drive somewhere. This motel is not a destination itself, but it's a great place to stay if you understand that you're in the area to be out & about, to see the ocean, the aquarium, etc etc. A weekend night cost us only $53 (offseason rates have not kicked it yet). This is about as bad as it gets. The door practically hits the bed on the way in the rooms are so small. Showers looked like a no frills $25 plastic camp enclosure.
