We booked the last two days of our vacation in this hotel because it was AAA rated, a good deal, and we just wanted to see the Aquarium on our way home from Northern Cal. I sure wish I saw some of the reviews on this page before I booked through AAA. We paid for two nights but only made... more

Rooms are small and smell. The room freshener provided couldn't quite cope. Pool is supposed to be heated, but was clearly not heated. We booked a deal via Expedia which included free internet, but when we arrived our room didn't have internet. The hotel wasn't too busy so that we were able to have our room changed to one which... more

I booked this trip through Priceline. At the end of the booking process, it gives you important hotel check-in details and states "All rooms will accomodate 2 adults. Bed type requests (king, queen, 2 doubles) or other ie non-smoking or smoking should be requested through your confirmed hotel" which I did. When I called Magic Carpet, the lady at the... more

My family and I booked this room because of its proximity to CSUMB where my oldest daughter was going to school. After dropping her off we checked into our hotel room with our other two daughters. The room had a muggy smell to it. As we looked around the room, fleas attacked our youngest daughter. Horrified we left the room... more

Staying at this facility was a horrible experience. Our first discovery of the evening was finding out that the outlets and light on the main side of the bed went off every 30 minutes if the sensor by the entry door didn't detect motion. While we were awake, we had the back patio door open to let fresh air in... more

This property was a disappointment, to say the least. My family booked two adjoining rooms, which were on the third floor. We balked a little at the price (around $150 per room per night for two nights) but the AAA guide said it had a pool, which the kids wanted, so we booked anyway. My mother has difficulty climbing stairs,... more

Even though the stationary, signage and even my credit receipt say Best Western on them, the Best Western corporation informed me that they have not been affiliated with this motel for over a year! This was a miserable overnight stay...We arrived at 9:45pm and the office was locked with a sign to use a courtesy phone (which no one ever... more

The room had been cleaned but drapes on patio door were filthy, slideing glass door came off it's track, bedspread seemed grimey. No internet access in room. I would stay here again if there was no other choice in my budget, but I may look around for something differant in the future. more

This hotel is certainly in need of a magician to sort it out. Best Western - what has happened to lead to the neglect found here? We found the hotel by chance - forget Best Western's directions! They didn't correspond to the roads in Seaside at all. The overall look of the hotel was tired and drab and this corresponded... more
