Solvang is adorable, like going back in time to a Danish mini-world. I don’t think Walt Disney could do it better, with bakeries, wineries and so many shops a fortune could be spent and several thousand calories consumed in just a few hours. Beware everything closes really early; we could not find a restaurant and ended up at the mini-market... more

My wife and I stayed for one night at the Hamlet Motel for a wedding in Los Olivos. It was one of the absolute least expensive and had very good ratings.
