We chose King Frederik because we usually stay at Best Western and know what to expect. The room was large and clean. Internet is included in the reasonable rate as well as parking and a simple breakfast. Everything you need to see in Solvang is within easy walking distance from the motel. more

This motel was exactly what I had expected. A nice clean place to sleep and shower. After a long drive and walk around Solvang it was perfect to come back to. Check-in and check-out was quick and friendly. Great stop for a road trip or family. more

Unfortunately the Best Western King Frederik Hotel is a tired motel, posing as a Best Western. I had no expectations when booking this hotel. Just wanted a place to stay for the night. The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. In the morning ther was complimantory danish pastrys, juice and coffe. Solvang is a wonderful little town and I do recommend a stay there. more
