My husband and I stayed at The Cooperage Inn during our trip to the wine country. It was perfect from the start! We were greeted by Claudia and given a tour of the Inn and learned all about it's history. We stayed in the Bonnemort Suite where there was plenty of room and warm decor. We were served breakfast in... more

We were excited to find that the Cooperage Inn was situated within walking distance of Sonoma Square and 4 or 5 great restaurants. It's "homey decor" made us feel like we were visiting a close relative's home. We were not intruded upon but made to feel like it was our own residence. Claudia (inn keeper) was great at helping with... more

My wife and I stayed at the Cooperage for three nights in October as part of our honeymoon. It was our first trip to Sonoma(we're from the east coast) and we selected the Cooperage for its price and location. It was an absolute steal. We stayed in the Milano Suite(but we might have sneaked a peak into the other suites... more

We stayed here for 3 days in the week after Labor Day. We really enjoyed the Inn. We had the Milano suite which is a bedroom, sitting room and kitchen with a big bathroom. Loads of room, comfy bed. Great breakfasts too. Very handy for the square in Sonoma. Claudia Wagar is the charming hostess and we were lucky to... more

My husband and I recently returned from 10 nights in California - spent at 4 different lodgings. Based on the reviews on Trip Advisor, we booked 2 nights at the Cooperage Inn. This is the first time we felt Trip Advisor led us astray. We stayed in the Bonnemort Suite. It was a little creepy - dark, no screens on... more

somehow we were a little surprised at how victorian the milano suite at cooperage seemed once we arrived. however, we chose to stay here (over other destinations in sonoma) due to its price and location, which we agreed was worthwhile in the end. we would describe cooperage as a no-frills stay - there is nothing overly indulgent about its accommodations,... more

The accommodations were superb. Our room was a suite of three rooms and a hallway. The decor was charming, the mattress was firm and the claw tub was delicious. We stayed six days, a little longer than their usual guests, because the location was perfect for our needs. The breakfasts were tasty, too. For the area, the price was unbeatable... more

What a jewel! Best place we have stayed in Sonoma. Convenient, close to the square, lovingly refurbished and beautifully decorated. Spacious kitchen with all the amenities, comfortable lving room, romantic bedroom with ga fireplace, and spa tub with loads of bubble baths and lotions, and a bath big enough for two. If you are lucky Claudia will give you a... more

This is the best deal in the valley. Great location (1/2-1 block from Sonoma Square) and very cozy place to stay. I've stayed in several b&b's before so I'm pretty aware of what you usually get. We booked their suite and usually you get a bedroom with a small living area. This suite (we paid $245 weekend rate) had a... more

My new wife and I heard about this place from another bed and breakfast owner who told us "if I wanted to stay in Sonoma, this is where I would stay." We weren't disappointed. We stayed at the Cooperage Inn for two nights during a honeymoon tour of Northern California. The milano suite was wonderful, with a full separate kitchen... more
