Stayed in the English Garden Suite and found everything about this B&B to be first rate. Have stayed at many many B&Bs and hostess Valerie has thought of everything; wine and cheese in the evenings, cookies late at night, assigned shelves in the fridge for leftovers and best of all: a wine card for free tastings at 30 local wineries.... more

This charming Bed & Breakfast near the Town Square in Sonoma is a true gem! This craftsman style home is beautiful as are the grounds! We stayed in the California Oak Suite and we were so pleased! The king size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large. Both were very clean! The innkeeper, Valerie, was a wonderful hostess... more

We chose to stay here as bikes were included in the price, which was great as you could easily cycle around Sonoma visiting the vineyards. You could walk to the plaza from the B&B and was close to several restaurants. There was a swimming pool and hot tub at the B&B, the breakfast was good, full of variety. Wine and... more

After several laps of the town we approached the hidden oak and met Valerie, the easy going and friendly host of this comfortable B&B. She was exceedingly helpful and the location is in easy walking distance of the town square. Make sure you are there on a tuesday evening to enjoy the delights of the street market. more

We occupied two of the three rooms available, two couples, special birthday trip without the kids this time. The rooms with private bath were spacious and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable, luxury linens, great mattress. We had plenty of privacy, you only saw our charming and delightful inn keeper Valerie, when you needed something or when she was... more

I recently traveled to Hidden Oak by myself for some getaway time and to do some wine touring. It was a great place to stay. I really enjoyed drinking wine with the afternoon cheese and crackers on the back deck! Valerie makes her guest not only feel welcome but also like a friend. Food was wonderful, rooms and ammenities were... more

My wife and I have visited the Hidden Oak over the last 15 years. It is our favorite B&B. Valerie is outstanding, I cannot imagine a better place to stay for this locale. The Hidden Oak is charming and comfortable, within walking or biking distance to so much that we rarely drive when we stay there. The food is outstanding... more

This lovely Bed & Breakfast was the perfect place for our first annual Sisterhood (with Grandma and Grandaughters) Weekend. The 3 large size bedrooms with private bathrooms allowed us to feel at home. Valerie, owner, was very gracious throughout our 3 night stay. She gave us a warm welcoming with a lovely cheese and wine hour with suggested wineries and... more

This is a well-located hotel in Sonoma, great for exploring vineyards and central enough to walk around the town. The owners are very nice and the free wine & cheese in the afternoon is great. more
