Location of the Inn is excellent for walking to the center of Sonoma and the desk agent was helpful in recommending restaurants. Our room was a standard with King bed. We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and it turned out to be one of best places we stayed. Location is very central, free internet access and breakfast included. We stayed in a suite and it was super....spacious, quiet and very comfortable. The staff were also friendly and great value for what can be an expensive location. more

Stopped here for one night on our way up the coast. The location is awesome, the amenities were very good, but the room was very dark like a cave (we were on the first floor). Booked thru Hotels.com Huge room big King size bed with nice comforter and pillows. Clean bathroom. Couldn't believe it but ordered breakfast at 8 AM opened the door and lady was there with a tray exactly at 8. Breakfast wasn't all that hard boiled egg -fruit-and a nice muffin. Great location in town and close to the wineries. Reasonable price for Sonoma. Had a HUGE room with a real fireplace, Reached Sonoma on a Tuesday, farmer's market! A lot of fun! Breakfast at hotel is just ok, they bring it to your room. more

My overall rating could have been "average" but I decided to rate it "very good" because Sonoma Valley Inn is pretty good value for Sonoma Valley where it's hard to find accomodations for less than $250/night.
