My husband and I visited Sonoma Valley for our Honeymoon at the end of August and stayed in Sonoma for 4 nights. We wanted to get a hotel with a swimming pool and something that would be close to the winery's. Sonoma Valley Inn's location is great. We were very close to many restaurants, winery's and a great shop called... more

For those who are swayed by fancy hotel chains and boutique hotels, you are missing out on a great place to stay in Sonoma. The Sonoma Valley Inn is 2 blocks off the square and is the best rate in town. The pool and jacuzzi are beautiful, located inside a quaint courtyard. It's not what you expect from a Best... more

A couple of longtime friends and I planned a trip to Wine Country together and wanted a hotel in Sonoma or Healdsburg that would be a nice place to stay and convenient to one of the town's quaint town squares. We found that place in the Sonoma Valley Inn. Although it doesn't look like much from the outside, it is... more

Location of the Inn is excellent for walking to the center of Sonoma and the desk agent was helpful in recommending restaurants. Our room was a standard with King bed. Room was spacious and clean, and the bed very comfortable. The problem with the place was the noise - a whine from the swimming pool area, roar of air conditioners,... more

To start off with fair warning, had I paid more for this room, the rating would have been much lower. We have visited Sonoma before and our priority was a hotel within walking distance of the square for convenience. We weren't overly impressed with the hotel we stayed at on our first visit, so we looked at the Best Western... more

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and it turned out to be one of best places we stayed. Location is very central, free internet access and breakfast included. We stayed in a suite and it was super....spacious, quiet and very comfortable. The staff were also friendly and great value for what can be an expensive location. more

Stopped here for one night on our way up the coast. The location is awesome, the amenities were very good, but the room was very dark like a cave (we were on the first floor). Had one small window, overhangs and a small patio. I didn't care as we were just passing through but if I had to stay there... more

Booked thru Hotels.com Huge room big King size bed with nice comforter and pillows. Clean bathroom. Couldn't believe it but ordered breakfast at 8 AM opened the door and lady was there with a tray exactly at 8. Breakfast wasn't all that hard boiled egg -fruit-and a nice muffin. Location was perfect. Shopping center across the street with great coffee... more

Great location in town and close to the wineries. Reasonable price for Sonoma. Had a HUGE room with a real fireplace, Reached Sonoma on a Tuesday, farmer's market! A lot of fun! Breakfast at hotel is just ok, they bring it to your room. more

My overall rating could have been "average" but I decided to rate it "very good" because Sonoma Valley Inn is pretty good value for Sonoma Valley where it's hard to find accomodations for less than $250/night. I think we paid something like $160/night. The rooms are a bit basic and dated but the services and location make up for what... more
