This is an older Marriott property in a convenient but problematic location. One side of the hotel faces the freeway and the commute railroad tracks. ALWAYS ask for a room facing the water. This hotel is a great choice for a night near the airport. Otherwise, there's not much to do in the area. If you don't want to spend a fortune staying downtown (hotel, parking, etc), this Courtyard is a great choice. It's five minutes from SFO, 15 minutes to the city, easy access to highways and sits on the banks of an inlet on the Bay. Front desk staff (with exception of 1 female on our second day of stay) were extremely helpful with suggestions for places to eat, provided directions/maps.
