this hotel is one of the worst i have ever been too. very lazy staff, Ac doesn't work , hotel is run down, and has a nasty smoke stench. The area was good but the hotel is terrible i rather stay at motel 6 than this. breakfast was disgusting. I'm shocked how Choice Hotels is letting this hotel represent them.... more

My brother and I were in Stockton for 4 days. We stayed at the Comfort Inn. The hotel was clean, had friendly staff, convenient to freeway access and around a lot of restaurants. Close to the mall for shopping. We would stay there again. more

We made reservations...We did not get the room we requested. It reeked of heavy old smoke. Corners and edges were flithy, carpet and bathroom floor. The desk clerk was rude. The room needed alot of repairs which were not done. The nite security guard spent most of his time in the lobby keeping the coffee pot company. Spend your money... more

This place used to be the Red Roof Inn (not a Motel 6 as posted in another review here). It's a convenient location---directly off the freeway exit ramp and in between Denny's and Marie Callendar's. We stayed 3 nights and slept maybe 4 hours. Walls are paper-thin. You can hear a normal conversation in the next room. There were ants in the bathroom and the toilet was not secured firmly. The only positive aspect of this stay,besides leaving, was the staff. They were very friendly. more
