We've stayed here for one night, arriving around 10pm. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, spacious and contain desk, tv, fridge. Free wireless internet is available. The beds, desk, cabinet and carpet looked nice without any stains. Nice pool area. Breakfast was included and turned out to be very good (buffet style including hot stuff). It was... more

It is a Motel/Inn style. You walk from your room right into the parking lot. For the first couple nights, there was a small crowd of college aged kids, guys and girls, playing around at 10:00pm with an American football in the parking lot, drinking booze, and displaying wild behavior. Not exactly a family environment. The room is large and... more

This place was rated a 3 star hotel on Orbitz, which is grossly overstated. It is a decaying one star motel at best. It was clean, I'll give it that, but the furniture in the room was old and worn, the carpet had stains, and the appliances were from like 1972. The on-premises "gym" had ancient equipment which was far... more

It is often difficult to find hotel rooms in the Mountain View, Sunnyvale area. Places either charge you an arm and a leg or they're sold out. I consider the Sundowner my regular stopover site and have stayed there many times. The people working there are always courteous and easy to work with. They're also interesting; the gentleman who owns... more

I stayed at the Sundowner Inn this past December with a group. We were all very happy with the rooms and expecially the service we received when we checked in. The person at the desk was very helpful with directions and information about the area. They had wine and snacks in the lobby. The rooms are large and have free... more

I recently stayed at the Sundowner Inn, and was disappointed. We arrived at the hotel at around 10:30 at night, and were tired and grateful to finally rest down in our beds. Unfortunately, the room wasn't exactly up to standards, with stains on the carpets and no fitted sheets, it was overall 'pretty simple' - no lovely surprises here. When... more

I stayed at this hotel with my wife and two young children. It was a horrible experience. The manager tried to raise our rates after I had already booked the hotel. I would suggest booking online so you don't have to deal with the manager. The free breakfast hours where always differrent than what was posted. It seems that they... more

This is clearly a motel and the $106/night I spent was competitive for the area, but not for a motel. I am a business traveler and do not require any upscale accommodations - just a clean room and internet access. The good: - Location (at least, for me on this trip) - High speed wired internet (500kpbs) - Desk and... more
